George C. Berry, Jr., 76, of Steubenville, Ohio died Thursday, August 3, 2006 at Palliative Care. He was born October 31, 1929 the son of the late George C. and Norma Myers Berry, Sr. George retired from Weirton Lumber Co., was a member of Wellsburg Masonic Lodge 2 and served in the Army Air Force during WWII. He enjoyed archery and was National Muzzle-Loader Champion, having won the title several times. Preceding George in death were his wife Dorothy Williams Berry and two sisters Jean Ensell Busic and Ruth Wagner. Surviving are his sisters-in-law Mildred Pavlic and Sarah Williams both of Steubenville and Mildred Williams of Mingo Junction; nieces Linda Caputo, Deborah Oberholtzer, Susie Elder, Jody Ball and Jill Woisnet; and nephews Gary Ensell, John Williams and Bob Williams. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville on Friday 6-8 p.m. where a Masonic service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial at Union Cemetery.
