  Dear Family, We are very sorry for your loss. Your mother was a kind, generous, and respected woman. She was a good friend of Bruce's mother. She purchased each of our three son's newborn pictures. May God bless you and all those who were fortunate to have known your dear mother and grandmother.

  As the Steubenville Herald-Star City Hall reporter, I had frequent contact with Geneva. She was most proud of her family and really savored the trips to watch OSU play in the Rose Bowl. She was a woman of integrity and high standards in an office that had to withstand the pressures of those seeking an advantage on police and fire Civil Service tests and promotions.   Dear Martha and Michael Please accept my sympathy on the loss of your mother. Mrs. Beard was someone I admired . I knew her as a parent, neighbor, and worked with her in the City of Steubenville. She had such pride in Steubenville, our schools, and her family. Steubenville was better off that we had her in our corner. I am sure she was a great grandmother.   I work at The Inn At Wingate in the kitchen and dinigroom and even though I only knew Geneva a short while caring for her was a honor and she will be missed by me and many others who have had the pleasure of knowing her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
