Geary D. Teramana, Sr., 67, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, May 31, 2019. He was born January 10, 1952 in Steubenville, a son of the late Albert J. & Imogene M. Blake Teramana, Sr. He was Catholic by faith. He began his business career, after graduating from the University of Las Vegas, at Twin State Motors and after several successful business and franchise acquisitions, became co-owner of Team Automotive. Geary was a community and civic leader, businessman and philanthropist and a good man always ready to help and serve others. He had a passion for tinkering with motors, building cars and go-karts, and our community.
Preceding Geary in death were his parents and son Geary D. Teramana, Jr. on March 24, 2006.
Geary is survived by his wife Patricia “Pat” Koschel Teramana; son Mark (Paige) Teramana and their daughter Blake Francine; brothers Albert J. (Jill) Teramana, Jr., Terrence “Whitey” Teramana, and Mark Teramana.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Monday 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Church with Msgr. Gerald E. Calovini officiating. Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family strongly encourages donations be made to The Friendship Room, PO Box 53 , Steubenville, OH 43952.
