I have many fun memories of growing up with Gary. We were in the church choir, school band & chorus. We made many mud pies and cookies together with our other neighborhood friends (Nancy, Karla, Denny, Titter - and Jay Alan during summers). There was the neighborhood pet cemetery in my grandparents' back yard...hours and hours of bike riding with friends on the Bloomingdale streets, and swimming with our patched innertubes from Hervey's Garage! I'm privileged to have shared a small part of Gary's life. I'm so proud of the love and talent that Gary poured into the renovation of the George & Mary Copeland home where my beloved grandparents raised me. We, and all who knew Gary, share in the loss of an extremely talented / gifted friend. May the blessings and happy memories from the past lift our hearts and carry us forward. cj
