Frederick A. “Fred” Hickle 49 of Flatwoods, Kentucky died Wednesday, April 27, 2004 at Woodland Oaks Health Care Facility. He was born in Steubenville, Ohio on August 11, 1954. Fred was a union electrician having worked in Phoenix, Arizona. He had been a member of the Boy Scouts where he achieved the honor of Eagle Scout and served in US Air Force during the VietNam War. He was preceded in death by his father Charles T. Hickle, Jr. Surviving are his mother Ruth E. Thomas Hickle of Flatwoods; brothers Charles T. (wife Mary) Hickle III of Mingo Junction, Ohio and David A. (wife Deborah) Hickle of Wyano, PA; sister Susan Hickle of Flatwoods; daughter Corina (husband Billy) Moore of Mingo Junction; and two grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Sam Retzer officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben.
