Condolences

My wife and I want to extend our condolences to Fred's family. We just learned of his passing and feel a great loss. We met Fred when I started flying out of Toronto, Fred's home field, and we became fast friends. We both enjoyed many hours flying with him or just sitting around listening to his stories. We will also miss Fred circling our house and blowing his horn! Fred was a fine man in every way but then you all know that don't you. Our world will not be the same without Fred in it. May God bless him and you.

My condolences to the Donaldson family upon the death of Fred. I worked for many years at the dental office of Ronald C. Ard in Weirton, and Fred and Ruthie were the suppliers of the finished dentures. It was such a pleasure to know them both. I used to drop the casts off at the house on my way home, and Fred always had a story to tell or something to show me in that wonderful office. He and Ruthie even offered to take me up in the plane, but I just couldn't muster up the nerve! They both laughed at that. They were both wonderful people, and may fond memories keep them in your hearts forever. May God hold you near during this difficult time.

I have good memories of flying with Fred and the fun that we had. He was a great grandfather to Tony - I appreciate him for that. Ron Ellis
