Freda Rahal Baz 90 of Steubenville, Ohio, formerly of Toledo, Ohio died Monday, March 3, 2003 at Trinity Medical Center East. She was born on Febuary 15, 1913 in Magdal Shams, Syria a daughter of the late Moses and Alia Rahal. She was a member of St. Elias Orthodox Church, Sylvania, Ohio, where she was also a member of the Ladies Society. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edward A. Baz, brother George Rahal, sister Hazel Rahal Zakaib. She is survived by one son Arthur (Jane) Baz of Steubenville, two grandchildren Melissa Baz and Douglas Baz both of Columbus, Ohio, nieces and nephews, a brother-in-law and sisters-in-law. Friends may call on Thursday 2-5 and 7-9 P.M. at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave, Toledo. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at St. Elias Orthodox Christian Church, Sylvania, Ohio with Rev. Father Paul Albert officiating. Burial at Toledo Memorial Park, Toledo, Ohio.
