Frederick “Fred” Kaiserling, 79, of Wintersville, OH died Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at Valley Hospice Palliative Care. He was born February 20, 1928 in Steubenville, OH a son of the late Harry and Marie Gilmore Kaiserling. Fred retired as a captain from the Milwaukee Fire Department. He was a WWII Navy veteran and a former member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Steubenville, OH. Preceding Fred in death were his 1st wife Mary Anne Meyer; brothers Robert and Harry Kaiserling and sisters Marie Maley and Betty Mae Kenny. Surviving are his wife Kathern J. “Katie” McClain Durbin Kaiserling; three sons William “Bill” (Jean) Kaiserling of Wauwatosa, WI, Robert Kaiserling of Milwaukee, WI and Scott (Debbie) Kaiserling of West Allis, WI; daughter Linda Hilger of Milwaukee, WI; two sisters Patty (Paul) Yates of Mingo Junction, OH and Anna Mary Bennett of Hopedale, OH; step children Don (Beth) Durbin of Steubenville, OH, Joe (Jane) Durbin of Springfield, OH and Joy (Joe) Molinaro of Steubenville, OH; five grandchildren; six step grandchildren; two great grandchildren and five step great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jason Elliott officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. Memorial donations may be directed to Valley Hospice; Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 7929 West Lincoln, West Allis, WI 53219.
