Fred Dean Alloggia, 96, of Hopedale, Ohio passed away on May 26, 2025 at Gables Care Center. Fred was born in Hopedale, Ohio to the late James Lee Alloggia Sr. and Angeline Palazzone Alloggia.
Fred served his country during the Korean Conflict as part of the United States Army for 3 years in Germany. He had worked in the coal mine at Piney Fork, Ohio for a time and then was a retiree after 38 years at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel as a railroad engineer.
Preceding Fred in death were his brothers James Lee Alloggia Jr. and wife Gloria, Robert Alloggia Sr., and daughter Cynthia Vitek and husband John.
Fred is survived by his wife Martha Ann Kerr Alloggia and daughter Tina Cook (late Edward), grandchildren Kristina (Scott) Neumore and Ryan (Sara) Vitek, great grandchildren Caden and Kylie Neumore, Kaylee, Emma, and Sophia Vitek, sister-in-law Eileen Alloggia, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Private services for the family held at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio.
