Obituary For Frank M. Duggan

Frank M. Duggan, 78, of Wintersville, Ohio died Sunday, October 28, 2007 at Valley Hospice North. He was born November 24, 1928 in Sioux City, Iowa a son of the late Frank J. & Margaret Ann McCarthy Duggan. He was a proud citizen of Wintersville for forty years and participated in many community organizations including serving as village clerk and F.O.P.A. member. Frank and his family are members of Blessed Sacrament Church where he was a former choir member and lector. He served as treasurer and past Grand Knight of K of C Council 472. He was past treasurer of American Legion Post 557 and memorial squad member. After 23 years of service, Frank retired from St. John Medical Center (Trinity West) as credit manager in the business office. Preceding Frank in death were two brothers James & John Duggan. Frank will be missed by his wife Regis Z. Marcotte Duggan whom he married February 6, 1954; ten children Margaret Ann Bodnar, Daniel Duggan, Diane (Randy) Luginbuhl, Maureen (George) Giandomenico, Julia M. Duggan, Patrick (Analisa) Duggan, Raymond (Gina) Duggan, Terry Duggan, Paul (Sherry) Duggan, and Veronica Duggan; 17 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and sister Ann Ricker. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home on Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral liturgy without mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Thursday 10 a.m. with Msgr. Gerald Calovini Officiating. Vigil Service 3:45 p.m. Wednesday Entombment at Fort Steuben. Memorial donations may be directed to Valley Hospice.
