Frank Kalamarie, 90, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Monday, October 9, 2006. He was born October 12, 1915 in Zeigler, Illinois, a son of the late Ivan Kalamarie and the late Dora Jacobich Kalamarie Kolarich. Frank was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. electrical department. He was a member of Holy Name Cathedral and played baseball for Zimnox Coal for many years. Preceding Frank in death were his wife Mary Milosovich Kalamarie; brother John Kalamarie and stepfather Nick Kolarich. Surviving are his daughters Carole (Dr. Enrique) Macias of St. Clairsville, Ohio and Doreen (George) Jakovich of West Palm Beach, Florida; granddaughters Lisa Macias of Columbus, Ohio, Teri (Joseph) Berardi of St. Clairsville, Ohio and Lynda (James) Sturgill of Wellington, Florida; four great grandchildren; and one brother Andrew Kalamarie of Mississippi. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Name Cathedral with Rev. William Cross, Rev. Timothy Shannon and Rev. Edmondo Stabene concelebrating. Burial at Union Cemetery. Vigil service 8 p.m. Tuesday Memorials may be directed to Triumph of the Cross Building Fund -OR- Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church.
