Frank DiBenedetto, 92, of Steubenville, Ohio died Friday, March 24, 2017 at Trinity West. He was born March 2, 1925 in Steubenville a son of the late John & Lena Amicone DiBenedetto. He was retired from Weirton Steel Co. Strip Steel Dept. and served in the Army Air Force during WWII. Frank was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church; Weirton Steel 25 Year Club; Hopedale American Legion Post 682; and Wellsburg Moose Lodge 1564. Preceding Frank in death were his wife Lena M. Pepe DiBenedetto on October 17, 2014; daughter Donna Marie; and brother John A. DiBenedetto.
Frank is survived by his two sons Frank W. (Frances) of Unionport & Joseph (Cathy) of Steubenville; 3 grandsons James, Jason & Tyler; three great grandchildren Jacob, Emma & Anna; and sister Mary Brancazio of Weirton, WV.
Friends may call at Shorac Funeral Home (formerly McClave), 611 N. Fourth St., Steubenville on Sunday 3-7 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peters Church. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
