Frank Bednarczyk, 85, of Follansbee, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, West Virginia. He was born in Oakdale, PA on December 12, 1932 the son of the late Joseph and Mary Szewczyk Bednarczyk. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara A. Sliva Bednarczyk and three brothers Stanley, Andy and Edmund Bednarczyk.
Frank retired from Ohio Ferro Alloy Company as a Heavy Equipment Operator and served in the US Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his daughter Kathy (David) Merckle of Follansbee, West Virginia and two granddaughters Karissa and Kadrian Merckle.
No services are planned. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, OH.
