Frances Phillips, 88, of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Trinity West. She was born May 22, 1927 in Amsterdam, Ohio a daughter of the late Andrew and Malvina Paszko Dranikoski. Frances was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Preceding Frances in death were her husband Robert R. “Bob” Phillips; five brothers John Domin, Walter Domin, Raymond Dranikoski, Willard Dranikoski and Joseph Dranikoski and three sisters Sophia Staskey, Sadie Gloskowski and Adeline Bobek. Surviving are her daughter Sandy “Ron” Kovach of Wintersville, OH; grandson Joe (Alicia) Kovach of Pittsburgh, PA; sister-in-law Helen Domin of Maple Heights, OH and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Sunday 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated Monday 10 a.m. with Fr. Michael Gossett officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. Vigil service Sunday 3:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to Urban Mission, 301 N 5th Street, Steubenville, OH 43952.
