I did not know Elizabeth personally but my Uncle Tom Daly was a teacher and worked with and was very good friends with Elizabeth and her husband. I am so sorry for your loss but she is a peace and I am sure had a very rich and fulfilling life - for the life of a teacher with whom everyone admires for there constant help and dedication to teaching others. May she rest in peace and Elizabeth, her husband and my uncle are once again united in a very special place reserved just for them!

Mrs. King was a faithful attendee at the worship services at Carriage House. After almost every service, we would talk as I walked her back to her room. She always had something to share about life and the world. She loved God, she loved history and she loved educating others -- especially about WWII. Having ministered at Carriage House for years and never missing without having someone fill in, this year, I could not find anyone to fill in when I had to be out of town. As a result, I came for lunch. Had I not missed that Sunday, we may not have had the chance to sit and talk for an hour shortly before her passing. Father, thank you for the life of Elizabeth King and the many lives she touched! As you receive her home, comfort her family and all who grieve her departure! In Jesus' name, amen!

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs Kings passing. She was a lady through and through. Her and Mr. King were good friends of my parents -- Walter and Charlene Rice. I was blessed to know both through Kent State University EL, my parents and being a teacher at Edison. I last saw Mrs. King at one of my students graduation parties abt 4 years ago. I had a very nice visit with her.... My Mom sends her sympathies too. RIP Mrs. King
