Florence Sullivan Brandt 94 of Steubenville, Ohio died Monday, February 23, 2004 at Trinity West, Steubenville. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 21, 1910 a daughter of the late John and Carrie Reese Sullivan. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, Women’s Advisory Board of the former Ohio Valley Hospital, Williams Country Club, a life member of the Womans Club of Steubenville, and also belonged to several twigs of both Ohio Valley Hospital and Weirton Medical Center. Florence was preceded in death by her husband Fred A. Brandt in 1974; one brother and two sisters. She is survived by her son Paul A. (Marlies) Brandt of Wintersville; two granddaughters Mandi Brooks of Seattle, WA and Diana (Randy) Pollard of Sardinia, Ohio; and five great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be on Saturday, 9:30a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Msgr. George Yontz officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery, Steubenville.
