Florence Marie Smail, 86, of Bloomingdale, Ohio died Thursday, June 29, 2006 at her residence. She was born September 6, 1919 in Bloomingdale, Ohio a daughter of the late William and Lois Peoples Miller. Florence was a member of Unionport United Methodist Church, Unionport Community Center, Unionport Grange 2728, charter member of Auxiliary #45, and a 50 year member of the Unionport Chapter Order of the Eastern Star #360. Preceding Florence in death were her husband Woodrow R. Smail and brother Glenn Miller. Florence is survived by her caregiver Alice Waller of Cadiz, OH; loving companion Harry McClain of Jewett, OH; and cousins. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville Saturday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. where services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Deborah Kellar officiating. Burial at Unionport Cemetery.
