Obituary For Florence M. Cesaro

Florence M. Cesaro, 91, of Wintersville, OH passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Weirton Medical Center. She was born in Cannan, WV on October 29, 1928 a daughter of the late David H. Strader and Linda V. Riley Strader Bennett. Those we love remain with us, for love itself lives on. Cherished memories never fade, because a loved one is gone. Those we can never be, more than a thought apart. For as long as there is memory they’ll live in our heart. She was a loving wife to her husband, Arnold and loving mother to her sons Kenneth, David and Paul. Florence was a homemaker, she liked working in her flower garden in the summer, canning in the fall and enjoyed gospel music. Nothing pleased her more than caring for her family. She was a member of Bloomingdale United Methodist Church, New Beginners Circle Methodist Women, where she was the secretary for many years. She was married to the love of her life for 64 years Arnold B. Cesaro. She is survived by two sons Paul Cesaro of Wintersville, OH and David Cesaro of Mingo Junction, OH; grandson Steve (Allison) Cesaro of Columbus, OH; granddaughter Samantha Cesaro (Devin) Kennedy of Wintersville, OH; one great granddaughter Gracie Kennedy of Wintersville, OH; step great granddaughter Brittany (Nick) Ullum of Idaho; two step great great grandsons Cooper and Rory Ullum; brothers Clark Strader and Macil Strader, both of Amherst, OH; half brother Floyd Bennett of Amherst, OH. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son Kenneth Cesaro; brothers Bacil, Ralph and Ray Strader; half brother Clifford Bennett; sisters Maude Sinclair, Opal Sterrett, Ruth Miller and Mary Anderson; two infant grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 11a.m. until time of service at 1p.m. Burial at Union Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Lancia Villa Royale for taking care of Florence. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can to Wintersville Volunteer Fire Department or donor’s choice.

    Dear Friends,  We are so sorry for your loss of your mom and grandmother.  Debbie and I had such a nice visit with her  sharing funny stories and memories.....I am certain my mom was laughing right along with us 🙂  Arnold and Florence were the best of neighbors for my family, and we are certain that they are celebrating in Heaven together!Praying God's hand of comfort as you join together in celebrating her life.  Love and Friendship,  Larry and Debbie George
