Obituary For F. Gene Pool

F. Gene Pool, 79, of Wintersville, Ohio died Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Trinity West. He was born in New Matamoras, OH on November 23, 1935 a son of the late Raymond & Wanda Barnhart Pool. He was a member of Two Ridges Presbyterian Church and retired as the business manager for Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 490. Gene also was a plumbing inspector for Jefferson County. Preceding Gene in death were his wife Davine Ingold Pool on December 19, 2007 and his son Gary L. Pool on October 16, 2015.

Gene is survived by three sons Keith (Sharon) Pool & Gene (Kay) Pool both of Wintersville and Doug (Jan) Pool of Malvern, OH; companion and friend Shirley Richardson of Wintersville; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; siblings Jack (Dolores) Pool, his twin, of Wintersville, Edward (late Peggy) Pool of Toronto, Larry (late Shirley) Pool & Claudia (late Ronald) Rogers both of Richmond, Ohio.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville on Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Dr. Bill Lawrence officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Two Ridges Church.
