Eva G. “Honey” Walters Bailey, 87 of Wintersville, Ohio died Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at home of natural causes. She was born in Steubenville on December 31, 1915 a daughter of the late Harry and Eva Burns Callender. She was a member of Calvary Fifth U.M. Church and Steubenville F.O.P. Lodge and was the former operator of Honey’s Beauty Salon. Honey was preceded in death by her first husband Lloyd Harry Walters on May 9, 1962; second husband Gilmore J. Bailey; one son Robert H. Walters; one daughter Marylyn E. McDonald and three brothers Harry, Meryl and Kenneth Callender. Surviving are one son Dewey K. (Ann) Walters of Sarasota, Florida; two daughters Norma L. (Garrett) Baldwin of Boca Raton, Florida and Marsha A. (Robert) Blackburn with whom she resided; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and son-in-law Thomas McDonald of Steubenville. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Burial at Union Cemetery, Steubenville.
