Ethel Elizabeth Parsons Brandt, age 83, of Steubenville, Ohio died Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Weirton Medical Center. She was born March 2, 1924 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Charles Frank & Nellie Pearl Parsons. She is preceded in death by her husband William E. “Slim” Brandt who passed away in 1998. Surviving are her son, Robert Edward Brandt, daughter-in-law Theresa Brandt, and grandson Eric Brandt, all of Steubenville and one sister, Patricia Litchfield, 4 nieces and 2 nephews of Baltimore, MD. She was a member of the Jefferson County Historical Society and Jefferson County Animal Welfare League. Private services will be held at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home and burial will take place at Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh. Donations may be made to Jefferson County Animal Welfare League for the animals that she loved.
