Obituary For Ernest Dale Van Horn

Ernest Dale Van Horn, 77, of Wintersville passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Trinity West. He was born in Mingo Junction on June 27, 1943 a son of the late Edgar and Anna Mae Bowery Van Horn. He retired from the Salvation Army and was a 1962 graduate of Steubenville High School. Dale is survived by his brother Edgar B. Van Horn of Dale City, VA. Private services will be held.

    Dale, You were a great and dependable friend over the 40+ years we've known each other. Our phone conversations and visits over the last several months have lifted me up and listening to your laughter was a plus also. Your Cleveland Browns will meet my Pittsburgh Steelers one last time this season. Ohio State will be playing for a National Championship and you can watch it from "Above " us all.  Farewell My Friend.  Jack
