Elsie M. Stewart, 94, of Wintersville, Ohio, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Gables Care Center. She was born November 10, 1916 in Brownsville, Ohio a daughter of the late Harry J. and Faye Vanwy Winter. Elsie was a member of Lovers Lane Church of Christ and attended Akron City Hospital School of Nursing. Preceding Elsie in death were her Husband John L. Stewart; son James Stewart; brother Elmer Winter; two grandchildren and step mother Carrie Winter. Surviving are three sons Robert “Bob” (Bea) Stewart of Denton, TX, Richard (Denise) Stewart of Wintersville, OH and Roger (Sharlene) Stewart of Bloomingdale, OH; sixteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville on Friday 6 – 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. with Rev. Raymond Haygood officiating. Burial at East Springfield Cemetery.
