Ellen Hilda Gale, 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 4, 2017 in the Valley Hospice Unit at Trinity Medical Center West with her daughters by her side. She was a devout Christian by faith, who dedicated her life to her daughters and grandchildren. Born on January 29, 1949 in Steubenville, Ohio. She is the daughter of the late Herbert and Katherine Cash. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter and two sisters. Surviving are two daughters Billie Jo (William) Carnegie of East Liverpool, Ohio and Michele (Jeffrey) Lewis of Steubenville, Ohio and four grandchildren: Chelsey Lynn Carnegie & Stacey Marie Gooding, Mikayla Marie & Skyler Edward Pfouts and two great-granddaughters Aubree Lynn Carnegie & Peyton Elizabeth Bell. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Monday from 6 – 8 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Jeff Greco officiating.
