Ellen G. Neidengard, 93, of Wintersville, Ohio died Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Trinity West. She was born September 25, 1913 in Steubenville a daughter of the late George and Lucy Boyd Teaff. Ellen helped manage the Neidengard Harley-Davidson dealership until the death of her husband in 1980. During World War II she was a Red Cross volunteer. Ellen was an avid reader of mystery novels. Preceding Ellen in death were her husband John F. Neidengard; and four brothers Jim, Raymond, Honey and Harry Teaff. Ellen is survived by her son John Neidengard and his wife Kimberly of Wintersville; daughters Doris “Snook” Dallas and her husband Rommel “Yum” of Steubenville & Marjorie Bell and her husband Lewis of Hopedale; six grandchildren Michael R. Dallas of Steubenville, Patricia Ellen Dallas of Hermosa Beach, CA, Thomas T. Dallas and his wife Linda of Steubenville, Lainie Johnson and her husband Ben of Chico, CA, John P. Neidengard and his wife Amy of Wintersville & Tiffany Marshall of Wintersville; seven great grandchildren Patina Ighnat of New York City, Natasha “Sasha” Ighnat of Steubenville, Angela Dallas of New York City, Sam Saldana of Chico, CA, Gianno Dallas of Hermosa Beach, CA, Hannah Neidengard of Wintersville & Kylie Johnson of Chico, CA; and one sister Doris Hocker of Wintersville. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday. Burial at Union Cemetery.
