Ellen E. Rennie, 87, of Steubenville, Ohio died Friday, June 7, 2013 at Valley Hospice Care Center North. She was born June 6, 1926 in Steubenville, Ohio. Ellen worked in Weirton Steel for over 30 years, working most of those years in the tin mill. She was a member of Weirton Steel 25 Year Club. Preceding Ellen in death were her husband Leo H. Rennie; mother Alice J. Lee Bickerstaff; three brothers Bill, Bernard and Glenn Bickerstaff and sister Madeline Bickerstaff. Surviving are her son Gary (Phyllis) Bickerstaff of Steubenville, OH; step-son Larry Rennie of Mingo Junction, OH; two step-daughters Virginia Hoover of Steubenville, OH and Gloria Green of N. Benton, OH; two grandchildren Lance Bickerstaff of Steubenville, OH and Karrie (Jason) Helt of Jacksonville, NC; four great grandchildren Cory Barrett, Tyler Bickerstaff, Mady Helt and Michael Helt; sister Betty Ferguson of Wintersville, OH; brother Barry (Lois) Bickerstaff of Wintersville, OH and two sisters-in-law Betty Bickerstaff of Weirton, WV and Joann Bickerstaff of Steubenville, OH. Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville.
