My family and I called her "Ginny." She was so special to us. I grew up on Fairplay Road, not far from Ginny & her family. They were all like family to us. She was so cheerful and helpful. One time when we went to visit her (in her home in Richmond), she took us upstairs to see her room full of puzzles. She loved putting them together, and had quite a big collection. She and nearly all of her family joined our Church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints). She was a good Christian woman, who loved and served her family & others. And she served the Lord. I shall never forget you, Ginny. My heart goes out to all your family.

I first met Ella one winter before her son Lee K and myself married in 1964. I went to her farm in Bloomingdale, Ohio. She made me feel very comfortable from the very start. I loved her and thought of her like my second mother. She was Avery Good cook and I tried to get her receipts however they were in her head. I remember the day she made bread and all of us were waiting around the oven for the bread to be done. When it came out we didn't even wait for it to cool down to slice so we just broke off pieces and the heat and smell rolled out and we buttered. Wow so good but very hard on my stomach. I really loved going to her home any time the door was never locked. Four of her children married the same year in 1964. The next 20 years Lee and I went to visit her many times and our 4 children loved to visit her until Lee and my divorce in 1985. I wanted to continue being in her family after however there never seemed a good time. Some day I will see her again and Praise God that time will come in heaven. Thank you Ella for your wonderful spirit. I will always remember your love.
