Elizabeth A. “Betty” Westlake, 82 of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Carriage Inn. She was born June 21, 1932 in Steubenville a daughter of the late Earl L. & Anna Mae Cuthbertson Westlake. After 30 years of service, Betty retired from the tin mill at Weirton Steel Co. Betty was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church and an avid dog lover. Preceeding Betty in death were her brother Thomas J. Westlake and two sisters Eileen Johnston & Margaret Paice.

She is survived by her brother Earl (Toni) Westlake of Mingo Junction; sister Kay (Wendell) Howell of Manassas Park, VA; brother-in-law Franklin L. Paice of Ostrander, OH; several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation. Services and burial at Union Cemetery Chapel, 1720 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville, Ohio on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Steven McKeown officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Humane Society of the donor’s choice.
