Obituary For Eleanor V. Reynolds

Eleanor V. Reynolds, 83, of Weirton, WV, formerly of Steubenville, OH died Friday, July 18, 2008 at The Inn at Wyngate.  She was born September 18, 1924 in Steubenville, OH a daughter of the late Harry S. and Cora Smith Jarvis, Sr.  She was a member of Finley United Methodist Church, an active member of LaBelle Chapter 414 Eastern Star, L.O.H. Thea Court of Columbus and Womens Club of Steubenville.  Eleanor enjoyed her card club and was an avid Big Red football and marching band fan.  Preceding Eleanor in death were her brother Harry S. Jarvis, Jr. and two sisters Emma Peterson and Shirley Hilliard.  Surviving are her husband of 62 years Harry L. Reynolds; daughter Diane Terranova; two sons Harry L. (Nancy) Reynolds, Jr. and Gregg (Ellen) Reynolds; brother Ira (Marsha) Jarvis; devoted nephew Dennis Peterson; four granddaughters and three great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where a service will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Ernst officiating. Entombment at Union Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to Valley Hospice, 380 Summit Ave., Steubenville, OH 43952 -or- Masonic Learning Center.  Eastern Star service Sunday 3:45 p.m.

    Dear Harry: Eleanor was such fun and always smiling! She attended many Ladies Shrine Ceremonials and we enjoyed some fun times. She will be taken care of now in a better place. Take care of yourself. My Love, Vi
