Eleanor N. Stewart, 88, of Steubenville, Ohio died Monday, June 6, 2011 at Valley Hospice North. She was born July 25, 1922 in Kilsyth Sterlingshire, Scotland the daughter of the late Andrew & Anna Moore McCaig. Eleanor was a member of the last graduating class of Wells High School in 1940. She was a member of First Westminster Presbyterian Church and was formerly employed at the medical office of  Dr. Howard W. Brettell, Sr., The Hub and the Hallmark Store at Fort Steuben Mall. Preceding Eleanor in death were her husband Samuel G. Stewart on May 14, 1995 and  brother Andrew McCaig.Eleanor is survived by her two daughters Linda (Mark) Stuller & Karen Madama both of Steubenville; four grandchildren Brett (Katie) Stuller, Grant (Jackie) Stuller, Jenna (Obed) Davis & Ellen (Joel) Stevenson;  great granddaughter Ella; one niece & two nephews.Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville  on  Wednesday  4-7  p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m.  Thursday with Rev. Jason Elliott officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Valley Hospice, Inc.
