Eleanor E. Gardner 65 of Lake Milton, Ohio died Monday evening, October 11, 2004 at Ashtabula Medical Center as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio on October 9, 1939 a daughter of the late Orn and Estella Buckbee Gardner. Eleanor was a former secretary at DiNovo Chrysler and the former Hanna Chevrolet both in Steubenville. Eleanor was a loving and caring Christian, she gave of herself and her time without reservation. The youngest of six children, Eleanor is survived by three sisters Martha (Blaine) Nonemaker of Wintersville, Margaret Cline with whom she resided and Betty Haynes of Richmond, Ohio and two brothers George (Fran) Gardner of Bergholz, Ohio and Indervan (Judy) Gardner of Salinesville, Ohio. She was not only a sister, but also a friend and second mother to her 19 nieces and nephews, 36 great nieces and nephews and 3 great great nieces and nephews. We will miss her dearly! Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Terri Slate officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.
