I am Henry mayo's sister and visited Elaine regularily. We always had such good visits and I am wondering how Bill is. I had a Christmas card from Elaine. Our memories go back to Salt Run where we visited every summer. I loved Elaine and am so surprised and saddened by her death.I guess I thought she would live to be 100, like Wilda. You all have my sincerest sympathy, Glee Eleanor MY ADDRESS 5850Meridian Road APT< 415B Gibsonis Pa. 15044

To Elaine's family members... I am so sorry to hear just yesterday of Elaine's passing. I knew and saw her more often in our youth, often at Grandma Everson's house in Martins Ferry. As a child, I have fond memories of visting Uncle Ab and Aunt Wilda, my father Wendell's sister. As time passed our visits were less. It is sad that our famlies were not closer. Please accept my belated sympathy.

Ed, I am so sorry to hear the passing of your Mom. May she rest in peace. We lost our Mom in 2002 and had moved her to Baltimore where we live. Take care. Joanne

I worked with your Mom in the yearly 1970's at the then First National Bank. I was only 18 and I so enjoyed her smiles, laughter and good nature.

Edwin, Gary and Family: I have fond memories of Aunt Elaine and playing with Edwin and Gary when we were very young. Aunt Elaine was always so nice to me when my mom, Ann Knowles, brought me over to play. My heartfelt sympathies to all of you at this time of your loss. Edwin and Gary, your mom will certainly be in my prayers. God bless you and your families.

Gary and Ed - My brother, sisters and I were so sorry to see that your Mom had passed away. I regret I didn't see the article early enough to get to Mingo. I have such fond memories of your Mom (and you two as well). Life in the alley was great fun. Elaine was so kind, sweet and generous with whatever I needed,be it a snack, drink of water or BandAid! No water has ever tasted colder or better than what came from that hose in your basement! I know how much you'll miss her but I'm happy to think she's laughing with Madeline and Mom once again.

I had the privilege and opportunity to work with Elaine at Bank One prior to her retirement. She was great to work with in that she cared about the quality of her work and had a calm approach regardless of how hectic the surroundings were. She was "one of a kind" and a great person to be associated with. She will be missed. David Black Westerville, OH
