Elaine A. Rogers 63 of Richmond, Ohio died Thursday, October 2, 2003 at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. Elaine was born in New Athens, Ohio on September 7, 1940 a daughter of the late George and Elsie Hildrith Furbay. She was a former instructor at the School of Cosmetology in Steubenville. Elaine was preceded in death by one son Robert Rogers, husband Frank G. Rogers, brothers Crumley, Jr., Richard and William Carter. Surviving are four sons Frank (Sherrie) Rogers and Carl Rogers both of Richmond, Ohio, Dan (Nina) Rogers of Maggie Valley, NC and John Rogers of Reno, NV, brothers Aubrey “Doc” Carter of Booneville, MS, James (Janet) Carter of Cadiz, OH, Charles (Connie) Carter of Concord, CA, Jack (Angie) Chamberlin of Tuscarawas, OH, and George Furbay, sisters Ann (Mike) Dudukovich of Lorain, OH, Betty Robertson of Cambridge, OH, Linda (Terry) Smith of Mt. Gillerd, OH and Barbara Furbay, 4 grandchildren. Friends amy call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M., where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1p.m.. Burial at Union Cemetery, Steubenville.
