Eileen C. Mallas, 96, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Trinity Medical Center. She was born on January 4, 1930 a daughter of the late Okey & Hazel Bauman Gump.
Preceding Eileen in death were her husband Mehamet “Mike” Mallas, whom she married on October 12, 1946 and he died on September 7, 2019; her son Michael O. Mallas (1989); daughter Sandra Daugherty (2005); brothers Howard “Bud” & Donald Gump; and sister Gladys Parrish.
Eileen is survived by her children Linda (Anthony) DiNovo, Lawrence (Dorie) Mallas, Hazel (late Mark) Lowe, Robby (late Diana) Mallas and James Mallas; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren.
Eileen's Family expresses their sincere appreciation to her Caregiver, Nicole Abshire; she has been an extraordinarily capable, compassionate, resourceful, and dependable companion for their Mother.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Monday 2-5 p.m.; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Bill Westling officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.
