Edward W. "Ed" Danley 86 of Steubenville, OH died Sunday, November 10, 2002 at Trinity Medical Center West, ER. He was born in Cameron, WV on November 4, 1916 a son of the late Albert L. and Louise Bungard Danley. He was a 50 year member of the former LaBelle View United Methodist Church, Steubenville and was a current member of Bell Chapel United Methodist Church, Steubenville. He retired after 42 years of service from WheelingPittsburgh Steel as a heater at the 44 inch mill in Mingo Junction in August of 1980. He was a Charter Life Member of AFL-CIO, Steubenville Chapter. He was also an avid fisherman, boater and loved the outdoors and his family. He was proceeded in death by sisters Cecile Wade formerly of Carrollton, OH, Mabel Taylor formerly of Wellsburg, WV, brothers Phillip Danley formerly of Cameron, WV, Russell Danley formerly of Carrollton, OH, Bernard Danley formerly of Steubenville, OH. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Bessie Leona Wells Danley whom he married July 28, 1939 in Georges Run, Mingo Junction, OH, sons Charles L. (Beverly) Danley of Bradenton, FL and Lawrence E. (Marilyn) Danley of Pittsburgh, P A, daughter Deborah K. Danley of Steubenville, OH, granddaughters Tawnya L. (Jim) Hohler, Tamara J. (Mike) Farnham, Kimberly A. (Ryan) Lovelace, Shannon A. Danley and fiance Mike, Chelsea L. Danley, grandson Brian L. (Heather) Danley. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Wednesday from 2-4 and 79 P.M., where Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 12:30 P.M. with Rev. Jeff Proya and Rev. Enzie Wade (nephew) officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, OH.
