Edward L. “Big Ed” Wilson, 64, of Brilliant, Ohio died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Trinity West. He was born August 7, 1945 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late Henry C. and Virginia M. Grimm Wilson. Ed retired on March 1, 2010 after many years of service at Trinity East and the former Ohio Valley Hospital. He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandkids. Ed loved woodworking, hunting and gardening. Preceding Ed in death were one brother and one sister. Surviving are his wife Lillian R. Gombar Wilson, whom he married on October 16, 1965; two sons Ed S. (Erin) Wilson of Steubenville, OH and Michael T. Wilson of Brilliant, OH; daughter Lori A. (Chris) Crow of Brilliant, OH; two grandchildren Eddie Wilson, Jr. of Steubenville, OH and Rachel Farrister of Brilliant, OH; sister Shirley Gault of Mansfield, OH and brother Ronald (Judy) Keeder of Mansfield, OH. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Tuesday 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jim Forbes officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary.
