Edna B. Martinez 93 of Steubenville, Ohio died Thursday, January 27, 2005 at Lancia Villa Royale. She was born on April 10, 1911 a daughter of the late George and Margaret Johnson Jester. Edna was preceded in death by her husband Jose Alfred Martinez, Sr. on December 10, 1993; one son Ray Benzo; two brothers George and Elmer Jester and one sister Nancy Ross. Edna is survived by two sons Jose Alfred (Joan) Martinez, Jr. of Wintersville and John William Martinez of Steubenville; two daughters Karen Martinez and her companion Ed Pethtel of Wintersville and Peggy Welch of Bloomingdale; 8 grandchildren; 12 great and 5 great great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville 6-8 p.m. Saturday, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday with Fr. Tom Hamm officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben.
