Edgar W. Walton, Jr., 96, of Toronto, Ohio formerly of Steubenville, died Monday, June 20, 2005 at Carriage Inn, Cadiz, Ohio. He was born in Point Pleasant, WV on April 13, 1909 to the late Edgar W. and Bertha Fach Walton, Sr. In 1971, Edgar retired from the Weirton Steel General Accounting Office. He was a member at First Westminster Presbyterian Church in Steubenville for over forty years. A life member of American Federation of Musicians; he held membership in Toronto Community Band; Steubenville Orchestra and Steubenville Legion Band. Preceding Edgar in death were his wife Violet Aley Walton; one brother and two sisters. Surviving are his son Jeff (Margaret) Walton of Toronto; three grandchildren Jeff (Karen) Walton, Jr. of Elkhart, IN, Amy (David) Harding of Marysville, Michigan and Dennis (Kristin) Walton of Aliquippa, PA; and eight great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. On Thursday, friends may call at First Westminster Church from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at 10 a.m. with Rev.
