Obituary For Earl W. Isaly

Earl W. Isaly, 79, of Bloomingdale, Ohio died Sunday, June 15, 2014 at his home.  He was born March 4, 1935 in Clarington, OH a son of the late Lloyd H. and Florence M. Bigler Isaly.  Earl was a member of Wintersville United Methodist Church where he served as an usher and was a member of the Methodist Men’s Group.  He was also a member of Teramana Cancer Support Group.   He was a 1953 graduate of Clarington High School and served in the US Army.  Earl worked at Crown Cork and Seal Co. in Weirton for 38 years as a lithographer pressman.  Preceding Earl in death were his brother Harold Isaly and sister Eulah Darrah.  Surviving are his wife Betty Lou Schayes Isaly; three daughters Kelly A. Stukey of California, Lisa K. (Jerome) Reinhardt of Wheeling, WV and Melanie J. (Ron) Beitzel of Gahanna, OH; son Paul E. (Mary) Grantonic of Wintersville, OH; three brothers Charles (Judy) Isaly of Sardis, OH, Ronald (Maxine) Isaly of Hannibal, OH and Harry (Carole) Isaly of Beallsville, OH; sister Mary Lou Smith of Hudsonville, MI four grandchildren Jesse (Jessica) Heagy, Zachary Beitzel, Paul Grantonic, Jr. and Marc (Erica) Grantonic; four great grandchildren Alexis Heagy, Isaac Heagy, Johnathon Grantonic and Colton Grantonic and sister-in-law Janet Isaly.  Friends may call at Dunlope - Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Wednesday 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. and at Wintersville United Methodist Church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Clint Quillen officiating.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to Wintersville United Methodist Church, Valley Hospice or Tony Teramana Cancer Center.

    Uncle Earl will be missed. He was a sincere, humble, compassionate, soft spoken, gentleman who's actions were a testimony to what he believed. He was truly a blessing to us.
