Earl L. Wright, 91, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Tuesday October 15, 2019 in his home. He was born June 16, 1928 in Steubenville the son of the late Earl E. and Mary Florence Crewson Wright of Steubenville. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years Margaret Annette “Annie” Wright. Earl is survived by his sister Eula Martin of Chicago, IL, sister-in-law Beverly Galbraith of Richmond, OH, nieces Annette (James) Pulice of Richmond, OH, Susan (Lewis) Ericksen of South Carolina, Charlotte Schneider of Missouri, Crystal Martin of Missouri; nephews David (Lisa) Galbraith of Louisville, OH, Robert (Kim) Galbraith of Carrollton, OH, and Joseph Martin; 7 great nephews, 1 great niece, 2 great great nephews and 1 great great niece.
Although our hearts are broken losing such a beloved part of our family, we find comfort knowing that Earl is with the Lord and the love of his life “Annie” who passed away just twelve days ago.
He was retired from the Weirton Steel Co. where he was a Millwright. He loved boating and going to auctions.
He was also an active and faithful member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Steubenville where he served as an elder and held the office of treasurer. He will be greatly missed by his Church family for the many kind deeds.
Viewing will be held at the Covenant Presbyterian Church 1443 Belleview Blvd., Steubenville, Ohio on Friday, October 18, from 12:30 pm till 2:00 pm. Funeral services immediately following with Rev. Ron Pritts officiating. Entombment at Union Cemetery Steubenville, Ohio.
