Obituary For Dwight David Morris

Dwight David Morris, 59, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born on April 12, 1962 in Steubenville, a son of the late Robert and Joanne Tice Morris. Dave was employed by Cedar One Realty construction division. Preceding Dave in death were his three siblings Eddie and Ricky Morris and Wanda Morris.

Dave is survived by his children Jennifer R. Salmons, Stephanie Siegman, Sarah Morris and Dwight D. Morris, Jr.; nine grandchildren Dane, Noah, McKenzie, Gabriel, Nathaniel, Braden, Cullen, Piper and Caden; significant other Sherri Hunter; siblings Connie (Gary) Cooper, Doody (Carol) Morris, Patty Morris and Christine (Morris) Knight; many nieces and nephews.

No visitation or services.

Dave was my first friend in 1st Grade. We good friends for years but we never got to hang out much. One time I went to school and I forgot something or had my pajamas on or something. The teacher told me to walk down home and told me to take Dave and someone else with me. We went down to my house and played a game of pool and drank pop then we walked back to school. It is crazy that a teacher would let you go home. But Dave was always my good friend!

I'm so sorry for your loss! I'm sad that your dad passed away! Your dad was always so cool when he was younger! He was always lots of fun and if kids started trouble he would end it quick.
