Dr. Jane Howarth did her job with such relative ease. As an older student she understood how my life differed from most other students. She was never too busy to help anyone with advice, demonstrations, explanations, all involving , yes, teaching. When I went through a hard time after becoming a nurse, she was there for me; supported me; & yes again, advised me. Thank You, Thank You, Dr. Jane Howarth. I will be eternally grateful to you. My sincere sympathy to your Family. I will never forget you. May You Rest In Peace.

Jane was a kind and gentle women. She was a wonderful friend to my Grandmother, Mable Reese. Because of their friendship , I become friends and a teaching associate of Janes. Jane shared much of her knowledge with me as I became a nursing instructor. She was a wonder mentor. Most of all it was the love of gardening that carried on our friendship in latter years. Jane was one of God's special women.
