After a long and courageous battle with cancer, the love of my life, Bruce Woodruff Haislip, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away August 24, 2017. Bruce was born April 1, 1944 in Wyandotte, Michigan. He was raised in Grafton, WV the son of Dr. Charles and Mary Louise (Woodruff) Haislip. Bruce received his doctorate of dental surgery from West Virginia University. He furthered his education by attending University of Rochester-Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York specializing in orthodontics. Bruce was committed to his dental practicing career in Grafton, WV. He then continued his career focusing on his orthodontic practice in Wintersville, OH. In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his sister, Dr. Nancy L. Craig. Bruce is survived by me, his wife, Mary Anna (Wolfe) Haislip, daughter Tracey (William) Jackson III, two grandsons Cody Jackson and Colton Jackson, son Brian Haislip, brother Dr. Charles Haislip and several nieces and nephews. Bruce cherished his involvement and had many friends associated with the Brooke Trap Shooting Association and Square/Round Dancing events. Over the years, he was passionate for the game of golf and Round Dance Cueing. I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to Valley Hospice for their care and support to my family and me. A memorial service to celebrate my husband, Bruce, and his life is pending and will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society honoring Bruce's courageous battle. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017, 2p.m. at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH.

Bruce's Family,I wanted to offer my support with the passing of Bruce. I did not know him well, only from brief gatherings at our Eastern Ohio Dental meetings. He always had a smile on his face, a kind word for me and for my father and just a gentle Spirit. Sending my peace and love.
