Douglas Robert Hyde 45 of Brilliant, Ohio died Thursday, April 10, 2003 at home of natural causes. He was born in Steubenville on September 24, 1957. He was a Protestant by faith, member of Kirkwood Lodge 446 F&AM, member of Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club and director of Ohio Valley Chapter of Harley Owners Group. Doug was a deputy for the Belmont County Sheriff’s Dept. Doug is survived by his parents Robert and Darlene Caldarelli Hyde of Brilliant; sister Tammy Boka of Mingo Junction; and Robert Goddard of Cinncinati, Ohio. Friends may call at Hoff-Shorac Funeral Home, 235 Clifton Avenue, Mingo Junction on Friday 7-9 p.m. and Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday with Rev. John D. Ater officiating. Burial at Oakland Cemetery, Mingo Junction. Masonic Services 7 p.m. Saturday.
