Douglas M. Wisnieski 32 of Steubenville, Ohio died Thursday, February 13, 2003 in Wintersville, Ohio. He was born in Steubenville on April 16, 1970. He was formerly employed by Minteq International and Anthony Carpet Service. Doug was Catholic by faith and was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Robert B. and Sylvia Boniey Blackburn and paternal grandmother Stella Borkowski Wisnieski. Surviving are his father Stanley Wisnieski of Derry, NH; mother Lynne Blackburn Wisnieski of Steubenville; one brother Craig (Dawn) Wisnieski of New Philadelphia, Ohio; five uncles Frank (Carol) Wisnieski of Wintersville, Walter Wisnieski of Maine, John Wisnieski of Steubenville, Robert (Cindy) Blackburn of Mingo Junction and James (Kim) Blackburn of Bergholz, Ohio; three aunts Margaret “Peg” (Lew) Otto of Smithfield, Ohio, Teresa (John) Canella of Steubenville and Rosie Coliacavo of Wintersville; nephew and niece Derek and Demi Wisnieski; and cousins Jack and Abbey Otto and Theresa Blackburn. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass on Monday 9:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church with Rev. Thomas Hamm officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben, Wintersville. Msgr. Gerald Calovini will conduct a vigil service at 8:45 p.m. Sunday.
