I was shocked when I read in the paper about your mom's passing. She was my closest friend at JVS Cosmo. She was so funny and such a great friend to me. I spent many nights at her house just hanging out. Her mom would be so nice to me when I went there that I loved to go down. The lesson here is to not lose touch with your friends. She used to see me at Walmart's salon and we would say we have to stay in touch and never did. I realy loved your mother and cherish my memories. She was a great friend. God bless all of you.

Sissy was one of those friends that you didnt need to talk to everyday but knew if I needed her she was there, and if she needed me, I would be there. She lived downstairs from me for awhile. I remember getting this swimming pool, filling it with water, getting all the kids soap, shampoo and even razors and took a bath in the back yard.Saying we were saving on the water bill.(The neighbors thought we were nuts)We always said that when we get old we were moving to the calabreeze building and racing our walkers up and down the hallway.Im going to miss her. I wish I would have spend more time with her. I love her children like they were my own. Love and miss you, Patty

My condolences to the family. I saw her obituary in the Herald Star. I went to school with Dorothy up until 10th grade. I lived in Pottery Addition and we became good friends at Garfield. I haven't seen her in almost 30 years but wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with her family.
