Dorothy L. Mellott 87 of Wintersville, OH died Monday, August 12, 2002 at Trinity West, Steubenville. She was born in Steubenville on November 14, 1914 a daughter of the late Albert and Mahala Yocum Martin. She was a member of First Christian Church, Steubenville, where she also sang in the church choir. She was also a member of the Ladies Shrine,Golden Sphinx Lodge. Dorothy was proceeded in death by her husband Marion F. Mellott, he died June 2, 1995, grandchildren Lori Sue Jenkins, Marion Mellott, brothers Donald and Carl Martin, sisters Alice Swickard, Lois and Rhoda Martin. She is survived by son Larry A. Mellott of Steubenville, OH, daughters Eloise (Franklin “Danny”) Pompa, Carol (Don) Castner, Dorothy ‘Dottie’ (Jack) Jenkins, all of Wintersville, OH, Deborah (Tom) Gill of Livermore, CA, sisters Eileen (Walter) McCloud of Missouri, Esther (Robert) McClelland of Richmond, OH, 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M., where services will be held on Thursday at 1:00P.M. with Rev.
