Obituary For Dorothy E. Craig

Dorothy E. Craig, 82, of Follansbee, WV, peacefully passed away at her home on April 17, 2026. Dorothy was born on April 30, 1943, in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Christian & Viola LaRue Zink. She was the Head of Circulation for the Brooke County Public Library and a member of Follansbee United Methodist Church.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Craig, and siblings Henry, Jim, Bud, Sonny, Glen, Bernard, Roxie & Paul.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Jamie Craig & Kimberly (John) Gehringer; siblings, Dale “Skip” (Patty) Zink, George “Nook” Zink & Wanda Oiler; grandchildren, Nicholas John (Deena) Gehringer & Emily Rose (Ty) Breeden, and two great-grandchildren, Eleanor & Enola.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. Burial at New Alexandria Cemetery.

    My aunt was just a lot of fun to talk to,illness changed that. Being my dad (sonny) was her brother. When we visited there were a lot of years dorthy let us sleep there while we were in town from Philly area. Always enjoyed n had fun chatting with her
