Dorothy A. Benko, 92, of Wintersville, Ohio died Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Lancia Villa Vista, Steubenville.  She was born in Mingo Junction, Ohio, the daughter of the late Eli and Mildred Komlenich Mamula.  Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband John Benko on October 20, 2014 and three sisters and two brothers.She was a faithful member of Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Steubenville; Past Matron of O.E.S. LaBelle Chapter #414 and served also as District Past Matron and Past President of Social Order of Beauceant #57.She is survived by a sister Emma Banovsky of Mingo Junction, niece Lori (Melvin) Timberlake of Brilliant, OH and nephew Mark (Cristal) Vincent of Berlin Center, OH and other nephews and nieces.Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Thursday from 9:30 until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Very Rev. Rade Merick officiating.  Burial at Union Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Holy Resurrection Church.
