Doris M. Evans 80 of Bloomingdale, OH died Monday, December 8, 2003 at Gables Care Center, Hopedale, OH. She was born in Bloomingdale on April 16, 1923 a daughter of the late Ellsworth E. and Pearl A. Roush Mansfield. She was a member of Bloomingdale United Methodist Church, and Unionport Chapter of Eastern Star #360. Doris was a graduate of Ohio State University and was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She was a retired school teacher having taught in Hollywood, FL for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her son Jay A. Evans, brothers Richard, William and Carl Mansfield. She is survived by her sister Mary Parks of Bloomingdale, brothers Dean (Gerry) Mansfield of Hopedale, OH and Dana (Arjanta) Mansfield of Bloomingdale. Friends may call Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville on Thursday from 10a.m. until time of services at Noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Debra Kellar officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bloomingdale United Methodist Church.
